This morning we awoke to 38 degree temperatures and have already decided this will be a good day to enjoy the indoors and watch the football playoffs that will be presented to us this afternoon. Maybe later in the day it will warm enough to venture out into the great outdoors for some visiting. I guess we don't really have that much to complain about down here in south Texas when you look at the rest of the country and the temperatures they are enduring. A friend in Northern Minnesota reported her temperature yesterday was a minus 25, That 63 degree difference in temperature would not be welcome by the team.
Last night Larry and I made our way into town for our regular Friday night sampling of local cuisine. This has become a regular event and it's always a nice change of pace to have someone else do the cooking.
Today one eye will be watching the thermometer as the other watches the games and all efforts will be directed towards enjoying the good life.
