Apparently the trip to Laredo yesterday opened a corridor that allowed the cool air to rush in to Zapata. The temperature gradually decreased and we hit an overnight low of 38 degrees. Needless to say propane usage is up and fortunately the propane truck arrived this morning just in the nick of time as the needle on the gauge was bumping against the bottom of the propane tank. I think I've gone through more propane this season than in years passed, but it's more important, at this stage of my life, to be more comfortable than thrifty.
Today we have absolutely nothing on the agenda and at this point I'm reserving tomorrow in case I don't get finished doing nothing today. Hopefully the temperatures will warm and we can get on with enjoying the good life.
I wish I could feel sorry for you and the cold temps. We had a high of 10 today. At least we saw the sun.
