Another decision

We woke up this morning with overcast skies and the temperature is 59 degrees and unless we get some sun probably won't go much higher. Looks like it's going to be a good day to watch movies.

Management has made another decision that has become the topic of conversation here in the park and seems to have backfired big time. There is a large area in the park that is over the septic field that has been used for years by the home owners to park their rigs while they are using their homes. When management announced the new rates they decided that $50.00 per month would be the new rate for the previously free parking area.

This is what the area looked like in early December when there were close to 30 rigs parked in the lot.

This is the area today after a mass exodus of home owners who were able to find more reasonable accommodations at other locations. The three units left on the lot are in the process of relocating and management has already dropped the rate to $25.00 per month, but it appears to be just a little late.

Today is pay the electricity day and I will be heading to the office to see how many gallons of electricity I have used and to find out if there is really going to be an unmetered water charge. The turmoil all of this has caused is starting to have its effects. One of the residents of our street is pulling out today and more are leaning towards the gate. Having wheels under you allows one to continue to lead the good life even if obstacles are put in your way.
