Second Saturday

It's the second Saturday of the month and today the pancake breakfasts started. All you can eat pancakes and sausage for $3.00. That's a pretty good deal if you're a pancake and sausage eater. I've never acquired the taste, but I did go over to the hall and checked things out.

Gary and Lou man the serving counter as Vickie fills her plate.

John polishes the grill for his next batch.

The early arrivals begin to dig in.

There is also a new addition in the hall. A wall plaque has been put up to honor the service of all veterans who have spent at least one season in the park.  One of the residents of the park took on this project and it really came out nice. It includes the persons name, branch of service and a star designates deceased.
Every branch of the services are represented including some of our Canadian friends.

We are overcast with a 40% chance of rain today and the mercury is being slow to make its upward climb. There is another full slate of football to watch and I sure hope my teams do better than last week. Which ever way it turns out I will still be enjoying the good life.
