This morning I made the trip to Laredo and filled the refrigerator and pantry and once again emptied the billfold. The trip went fine and Mel was glad for the exercise. Before we left this morning I discovered that overnight Mr. Acer decided not to function again. Things were fine when I shut him down at midnight, but when I got on this morning to read the on-line papers he wouldn't run. I kept getting a message Explore reloading. I'm assuming the sometime during the night my friends at Microsoft treated me to an upgrade that didn't install properly and unfortunately, because it's in Explorer, I'm unable to go back to a restore point. So it looks like we will be going back to square one for the sixth time. Windows 7 has now qualified for my seal of disapproval.
The rest of the day will be spent trying to get Mr. Acer back in business. Thank goodness Mr. Dell continues to hang in there. Restoring a computer is not my idea of enjoying the good life.
