New project

Last night I became TV installer when I was called to Harley and Annis's home to find out why their combination VCR/DVD player would play DVD's but not VCR's. An hour was spent tracking down wires, switching connections until finally coming up with a solution that solved the problem. Harley can now watch his John Wanye VCR's and is one happy camper.

This morning I prevailed on Harley to help me with a problem (that's the way it works around here). Ever since I got the weather station I have stored the remote sensor in the sewer hose compartment, which was never used for a sewer hose, and pulled it out and placed it under the slide when parked. The problem was the wires were being crimped by the hose door. It was decide a notch to accomodate the wires was in order. Had I been in charge of notch building it would have been crudely carved into the door, with Mr. Harley's help a jig was made to do the job properly. Harley is a cabinet maker and he always seems to have a better idea of how to do a job the right way.

The finished product.

Last night the temperature got down into the 40's but it is quickly rising and we are now at 74 degrees and we are better able to enjoy the good life.
