New flag

The repairs on the flag pole have been made and once again Old Glory is flying above 4 Seasons RV park.
Notice the band-aid on the lower third of the pole. Our flag pole is wounded.

Last night Larry and I went to El Paraiso Restaurant for supper. El Paraiso in famous for it's chicken fried steak and was voted among the 50 best small restaurants in Texas. Last night they lived up to the reputation, I had the small portion which on fills two thirds of a platter. They also have a large portion which is delivered on a hand truck. Good eating.

This is the sign to look for if you're ever in Zapata.
Yesterday also the arrival of my software from Australia. The box looked like it had been involved in a couple of Rugby scrums, but the software was intact. I spent the morning installing and setting up the programs and now I'm ready to let the games begin.

I have also been following some of the football games on TV so it's been a busy morning with all for this multi-tasking. Lots of football today to help me enjoy the good life.

  1. I'm curious as to what the Software from Australia is and does. Was it worth the wait?
