Todays walk was longer than normal, not that I went any farther, but it's such a nice day that there are a lot more people out to visit with it so took more time to complete my rounds. The temperature during my walk was 70 degrees , not a cloud in the sky and just a slight breeze, most of which was caused by my mouth flapping.
Here's a view across the lake with Mexico in the distance. You can see how calm the water is. A large number of fishermen have taken the bait and are engaged in feeding the fish this morning.
The old docks have acquired a new tenant who has become very proactive in preventing people from getting near them. He has done a good job, so far no one has tried to steal the docks.
We are still waiting for some more souls to arrive. Winterway still only has 4 occupied units on it and everyone around here is scratching their heads wondering where everyone is. Normally by this time of year the row is close to filled. My neighbors, Sal and Shelly are supposed to be here friday so at least we have some company coming.
Todays excitement will be a trip to the mailbox (we live a simple life). I have a software package on the way from Australia and the wait has been dragging on. Most web sites state delivery 3 to 5 days or a week. From Australia by air it's 3 days to 3 weeks. I'm not sure why the wide spread of time, but it's been 11 days since it was shipped and I'm getting impatient. Other than that nothing is planned but to enjoy the good life.
