Settled in

Well I've settled in for my stay here in Elephant Butte. This morning I was able to have a series of nice conversations with old friends Loren, Marilyn, Clay and Sharon. Clay and Sharon spent a good part of the summer in Gunnison and really seemed to have a good time. They were in the same park as friends Dennis and Tammy who used to manage the park here in Elephant Butte. Loren and Marilyn  made a trip to the Northwest to see a new grand baby and we spent the summer crossing paths. They had just left the Custer Battlefield when I was there and they were in Williams Arizona when I was headed to Lake Havasu. All of us share an interest in history, museums and exploring the country so we will have lots to talk about in the next few days.
