After several days of 90+ temperatures today's high is supposed to only reach 70 degrees and tonight we have rain in the forecast for the next couple of days.
This morning was laundry day. The laundry is placed at the convenience store which is just outside the park and far enough away that it required unhooking the utilities and using Mel to tote the laundry to the wash room. Not the most ideal situation, but we made it work.
While waiting for the laundry I called my friend Roger from Zapata and Mattoon Illinois. The news wasn't good. They have discovered that Brenda has lung cancer in addition to the blood clots they discovered earlier and she is waiting to see a specialist in Effingham. Roger said she is home, but is tired all the time. I sure hope we get better news the next time we talk.
The rest of the day will be spent putting away the laundry and doing my housekeeping chores and enjoying the cooler temperatures. Sometimes doing little or nothing is a way to enjoy the good life.
