Blood letting

This morning has begun hot with an overnight low of 70 degrees so I would expect that we will make the mid-ninetys today. This morning was spent at the clinic donating a sample of my blood for them to examine. That completed the medical part of my getting ready to travel checklist.

Yesterday afternoon Mel got his promised bath and a lot of spiders that had set up residence were displaced. As I washed the front of Mel I was wondering why, with all the government programs we have, there isn't one to educate bugs to avoid the front of vehicles. Can you imagine the man hours that could be saved that are now going to the removal of suicidal bugs.

The next job is to tackle the interior with a liberal dose of spring cleaning. Having learned the ways of South Texas today will be a planning day because there is no sense doing today what can be put off until tomorrow. Procrastination is just another way to enjoy the good life.
