Happy day

Today we have a wind that is frustrating the fishermen. We are heading to a temperature of 92 and hopefully the wind will die down a bit so we can pacify the anglers. They sure get surly when they can't fish.

Today I'm on duty watching Nikki Bow for my next door neighbors. Harley and Annis had to be at the Laredo Medical Center at six this morning. When Harley comes home he will, for the first time since Thanksgiving eve, be without the halo on his broken leg. He was very excited to finally get the contraption off his leg. His preacher told him the other day that most of his congregation have been working to attain their halo's, but Harley has been working to shed his. I also got a nice note today from their daughter Jackie, who lives in Florida and use the blog to keep track of what's going on around here. It was a nice reminder of the good things my blog can do.

We will be doing a few more chores and  getting more prepared to hit the road. I did send an email to my mail service yesterday telling Teri to send one more shipment of  mail on the 1st and then hold everything until further notice. The time to leave draws nearer. While waiting we will continue to enjoy the good life.
