We can't seem to get off the weather roller coaster. Yesterday we reached a high of 78 degrees and everything was beautiful until about 10 pm when the wind switched around to the north and began to blow to the point where I had o pull in my slides to keep from bouncing around. Since then the temperature has dropped and we are now at 50 degrees with the skies completely overcast. We are still looking for two nice days in a row down here.
Last night was the pie auction and there were lots of goodies to be had for one willing to pay the price.
Jeanie and Butch check out some of the pies. Butch retired from UPS in Palmyra and grew up in the West Pike area, we played basketball against one another in high school.
More of the goodies.
The auction staff waiting to get things started.
The day will be spent avoiding the chilly wind and doing some more reading just waiting for better weather so we can enjoy the good life.
