It has been raining since last night and although we have been able to muster is a quarter of an inch. We are also still in the 50's temperature wise. Sleeping was good last night with the pitter pat of rain on Mel's roof.
Activities around here have slowed to just a notch above stop with the lousy weather. This afternoon I'm having a late lunch with Harley and Annis and Sal and Shelly. Sal will be the head cook and he will be using his Italian heritage skills to whip up some pasta. My mouth is already watering.
After lunch I will spend the rest of the afternoon trying to keep dry and wearing out the computer's keyboard. Then it will be a trip to the mailbox to get my latest mail delivery and hopefully some new reading materials to keep me busy until the weather clears. We are having to be creative around here to enjoy the good life.
