Spoke to several friends last night while checking and more this morning so we are off to a good start for our stay here. I was also able to watch the climbing of the tower this morning, which is quite an event. We have a rather large communications tower in the park an this morning a crew arrived to service it. A coupe of pictures to show what I mean.
This shows the tower reaching toward the clouds. The next picture show the work area, right below thedish about 75% up the tower.
There are actually two guys in this picture, one is behind the conduit.
Cedar Cove is just about the nicest campground I have ever stayed at. It definitely ranks in the top ten. Did you end up with a PaT tow dolly? Tell Clay hi for me. Give Skipper a pat on the head for me also.
ReplyDeleteSkippy has got his Pat, Clay has your greetings and the tow dolly idea has been shelved.
DeleteThere is no way ever I would climb that pole. I admire those who can do it though. Have a great time in EB with your friends.
ReplyDeleteLooking for pole climbers around the park and didn't find a soul interested.
DeleteLots of chin wigging going on.
You couldn't pay me enough to climb that pole or another pole. YUCK!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that one.
DeleteAnd I thought the guy climbing our tree was way up there!! That gives me the heebie-jeebies!
ReplyDeleteI thinking I would not like the view from up there.
DeleteA great campground and free entertainment to boot! :c)
ReplyDeleteThey were sure running the high wire act today.
DeleteSo has it stopped raining now?
ReplyDeleteYep, finally!! Actually it was a pretty nice day here today.
