Today will be a big day at J-5. After last nights crowning of the new king and queen today there will be a parade in their honor. If it's like last years parade it will be an affair to remember. Upon the completion of the parade there will be another golf cart rodeo. This one will feature a blind driver and a seeing navigator sharing the responsibility of making their way through the course. It should be another fun filled day.
My job is helping with the construction of the course and then shooting as many pictures as I can of the activities. This will be a busy day of enjoying the good life.
Sounds like another wild week end for you, John. Know you can handle it.
ReplyDeleteI can wear out the park schedule just referring to it.
DeleteKeeping up with all those activities is starting to sound like a full-time job. Be Safe and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
I don't even participate in half the activities offered. It's one busy place around here.
DeleteJust make sure the course doesn't include too many turns near cliffs... :cO
ReplyDeleteYou must have confused our course with the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
DeleteDang, sure wish Texas was closer to Oregon!! I'd be there. Russ and I would be sure to win the golf cart rodeo...that's how we drive all the time!
ReplyDeleteLots of competition here.
DeleteI remember your golf cart rodeo from last year. What a hoot. I wish we did something like that.
ReplyDeleteIt's on again today.
DeleteHope you stayed far back enough from the blind folded drivers while taking pictures. Sound like fun.
ReplyDeleteYou learn to stay far back for survival.
