This morning started with a visit to the doctors office to donate some blood for evaluation. The method here is to fast all night until you on verge of starvation and weak in the knees and then see this young lady who withdraw enough blood to make you light headed, add to this a urine sample in your dehydrated state and that makes for a fun mornings entertainment.
The next stop today will be with the dentist to discuss what further pain he can inflict on my billfold while adding sparkle to my smile. I'm sure he has conjured up a plan that he will assure me will benefit both of us.
Later this evening we have the Punches Family coming to the park to entertain us. They were here last year and they really put on a good show. Dad and mom and four kids keep things moving for a couple of hours. Should be fun.
That will complete my day, a little pain, some cash outflow, some entertainment, but still enjoying the good life.
There sure is a lot of entertainment at your park. When is it your turn to perform?
ReplyDeleteThey don't make a bucket big enough to carry my tunes.
DeleteGlad to know that your body will be in tip top shape when we meet for lunch.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your evening.
I'm just going to doctors and dentists, not miracle workers.
DeleteI hope you get a good report back on all that medical mumbo jumbo!
ReplyDeleteI paid enough to get a good report.
DeleteSo you and dentist are working on buying him a new motorhome? Good luck on those doctor reports.
ReplyDeleteI do what I can to stimulate the economy.
DeleteThis doesn't sound like the good life...
ReplyDeleteJust routine maintenance.
DeleteVery stimulating day for you. Now it must be about time to wind down and relax a bit. You are all puckered up from loss of bodily fluids, and you wallet is flattened. It won't matter now whether you lie down on your back or your side...but you might still be too light headed to lie down at all. What a rough day for you, John. Sure hope tomorrow is better. Another tough weekend in your good life...coming right up.
ReplyDeleteActually the most damage was to the wallet. Recovery is just a pension check away.
