Today we are basking in another wonderful day here in the Valley. wind under 10 miles per hour, humidity 50% and the thermometer just hit 80 degrees. Just the right mix for getting ready for Christmas. Today is lazy day in the park and just a few people were out when I made my morning tour.
A surprise this morning was a phone call from my old friend Joe R. Joe and his wife Lee used to spend their winters in Zapata. It is always good to hear from old friends and we spent 20 minutes catching up.
I think today is going to be a lay back day watching some football and simply enjoying the good life.
Please explain to a Northern how 10 mph winds, 50% humidity and 80 DEGREES = Christmas. I just can't wait to read what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteNot a problem, if you can wrap your head around Santa Clause, you can wrap your head around this being Christmas weather. You just have to believe.
DeleteGreat response John, love it!
ReplyDeleteMarsha was toying with me. They were in the Valley and chose to go back to Ohio for Christmas.
DeleteI'd rather see 80* weather than snow and cold too!
ReplyDeleteKind of grows on you.
DeleteWe love warm weather and hate it when it dips below that freezing mark but it seems Arizona has recently had some of that. Of course, most weather is better than snow. Meeting with RV friends is half the fun.... enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGot to agree, I received a lifetime supply of snow the ten years I drove over the road.
DeleteThank goodness you survived the week and made it to the weekend, so you can rest up!
ReplyDeleteYou jest, but that's exactly the way I see it.
DeleteGood to know we know how to take life easy. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that why they call it retirement?
