Just in time

The new mattress arrived just in time to let me sleep in this morning as a cold front with swirling winds moved in. It's a good morning for pulling the blankets over you head and ignoring what's going on outside. I can say that I did have the best nights sleep I've had in months, so it appears I have made a good investment.

Yesterday, after I got the bed all setup, I took a walk around the park and noticed some new flowers have come alive. Around this part of the country there always seems to be some color. When one flower goes dormant another comes to life. Here are the latest additions.

Flowers without comment. If you would like to name them feel free.

This afternoon it looks like avoiding the wind will be the challenge I will also spend some time watching for the sun to appear. All of this is just part of enjoying the good life.

  1. Thanks Gypsy, with my knowledge I thought calling them flowers was insightful.
