Well the wind finally stopped blowing and the sun is back out and now all that is needed is to get the temperature back up a little closer to my comfort range. Right now it's 57 degrees and a plus 20 degrees is a lot closer to my preference. The weatherman assured me he is working on the situation and has promised to deliver mid 80 degree temperatures by the weekend.
Yesterday, being housebound, gave me a chance to check the tracking on all the stuff I have on order. The first thing I checked was the first Rand McNally GPS I ordered and it hasn't been updated since it reached the Falfurria post office a week ago Wednesday, I'm pretty sure that this one has gone to the twilight zone. The next was the clothing order from Haband. Half of the order is here and the other half is still back ordered, to be shipped any minute, I'm sure. I also found out the new Plushbed foam mattress is making progress in this direction and has left Hodgkins, Illinois and is supposed to arrive here on the 8th. The electric grill I ordered with my credit card points left yesterday via FedEx from New Jersey. I looks like it's time to decorate the tree because my Christmas is going to be next week.
The temperature just hit 60 here so it's time to get out and take a stroll through the park to see what's happening. Another day of enjoying the good life is in store.
Guess who got your wind? It is really blowing now.
ReplyDeleteWell at least cricket is letting me get on line so I am taking advantage of it while I can.
What are you reading regarding your western history? I love reading about the West and I have dozens of books.
JOJO, batten down the hatches and get a good book to read. I'm currently reading 'The history of the military occupation of the territory of New Mexico.'I got it from Amazon for my Kindle on the computer.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you want to take the word of a weatherman???
ReplyDeleteGood luck collecting all your orders, I dislike back orders. Seems like they never find me...
I always accept the weatherman's forecast when it agrees with what I want to happen. Gives me someone to be mad at when it doesn't turn out.
