Today Mel is standing tall with the addition of the stars and stripes as we honor the men and women who have made this country what it is today on this Patriot Day. It is also a time to reflect on the events of ten years ago and offer a prayer of remembrance for those who fell.
Mel and I salute the Patriots.
The Sunday schedule will be observed today with all activity directed towards games on TV. This is our way of enjoying the good life.
It will be a day remembered always I hope. We need to make sure our children and grandchildren and on down the line know about that horrible day.
