My day started at 6 am this morning when my neighbor, who had parked his diesel truck right under my bedroom slide, cranked up the engine to head for work. I got up and turned on the hot water heater and then detected the start of rain drops on Mel's roof. Then I began breakfast of Boston Cream Pie toaster strudel and by the time it was ready a pretty noisy thunderstorm had blown into the area. I sat and ate breakfast and watched the light show and after about a half hour it diminished to a gentle rain which just encouraged me back to bed to enjoy the gentle serenade. I finally pulled my lazy tail out the the bed for the second time at 9:00 am. The good decision is that I don't have to drive all day in the rain as I just sit here and enjoy the view.
This is what I see from the front of Mel. That's a golf course across the water.
Today's effort will be directed at continuing the healing process, while enjoying the gentle rain and the good life.
John, it's all God decision, isn't it?
