Today is one of those days that is suitable for maintenance and little else. We are overcast, 66 degrees and there is no sun in sight. One of the things I did this morning is install a new flea collar on Mel. About twice a year I buy a medium size dog flea collar and cut it in half. One half is placed in the furnace bay and the other half goes in the water heater bay, both places are notorious for attracting wasps and bees who like to nest in warm places. I have no idea if this works or not, but I can report in the three years I've been using this method I have not had any problem what so ever with nesting critters. So rather than tempt fate Mel gets a new flea collar every six months.
Todays plan is not to have a plan. A few more rinses with salt water and I will pronounce myself healed from Tuesdays oral surgery and ready to eat normally again. Other than that, it's just move forward and enjoy the good life.
