Delores, day 2

ohis morning we took and exploration hike around the park and walked down to see the river. On the way back from the river a little patience was required as we had to wait for a small snake to cross the road. I was able to enjoy the river for awhile as it flowed to the south. Here is what I saw.

This is the view from Mel's front door. The octagonal building is the office and the building on the left is home to the showers, laundry and rec hall.

Today will be spent planning some day trips to visit some of the attractions in the area. There are a lot of museums and National Parks in the area and I have to figure out which ones I want to visit.  Planning is part of enjoying the good life.
