Ready, set.....

This morning it was up bright and early in the cool of the day, it was only 90 degrees, to get ready to go in the morning. The holding tanks were emptied, the sewer hose was cleaned and put away and the slides were pulled in and secured. In the morning all I will have to do is disconnect the water and electric and stow the satellite dish and I'll be ready to head north. Several of the stops I had planned around this area will be delayed until the fall because my quest is to get far enough north where the nights are cooler than 90 degrees. Before leaving town I have one more RV park to get information from as another possible winter home. Then a mandatory stop at Wal-Mart and North we go. If all goes well we should be north of Las Vegas when we bed down tomorrow night. As I head north I will be looking for a place to lay low over the 4th of July. Experience tells me this is not a good time to be on the road. At least not if you want to enjoy the good life.
