Again the wind has blown into Lake Havasu City and it's really kicking around the dust. I had planned to make another trip downtown today, but have decided to postpone it until a day that there is less wind involvement. With the wind came a drop in temperatures. The high for today is only expected to be 81 degrees, a real cold front. Tomorrow there should be less wind and a journey to town will be attempted.
I was able to talk with Roger yesterday and all things considered he is doing well. Brenda decided to forgo the radiation treatments and they are concentrating their efforts on keeping Brenda comfortable. Hospice is now involved and Roger is grateful for the help they are providing.
One thing noticed on my walk around this morning was that most of the flowers around the park have lost a lot of their blooms, I suppose the wind has dispersed them to parts unknown.
The rest of the day will be spent trying to keep busy while enjoying the good life.
Hi John, Thanks for the satellite information. The monthly rate isn't too bad but I was blown away by the initial cost, ouch!
ReplyDeleteThere may not be one of these on my new roof as we prepare to enjoy the "good life" ;-)
