Today I'm in a waiting mode, waiting for two deliveries both of which show out for delivery on the internet. The first package is the bracket for mounting the TV which is scheduled to arrive by UPS. The second package is a new leather recliner I ordered to replace the ultra suede (can you say soaks moisture up like a sponge) recliner I have now. Both packages will come complete with some assembly required, how much assembly remains to be seen..
Today is also Winter Texan Appreciation Day in Zapata. The local Chamber of Commerce holds this event every year. Their will be food, exhibits, live music and door prizes. Several people in the park are planning on attending. It is a real nice thing the local people do to make us part of the community and to thank us for choosing Zapata as our winter home.
We have a stiff breeze again today and that has hampered the fishermen a bit, but the temperature is in the 70's and the sky is clearing. It is going to be a good day to enjoy the good life.
