So far today the best we have been able to do is 45 degrees. It is overcast and all that cold weather my friends to the north are experiencing is spilling over to the south. Tomorrow is supposed to be just as chilly with rain. This is not what I came to the south of Texas for and I don't think anybody else that is here did either. Of course when the weather acts up like this most everyone here is hiding under their rocks waiting for a better day.
This is a good day for working on the computer and maybe researching warm place where I can go next summer. This afternoons excitement will be the arrival of a UPS shipment that I have been tracking all week. It is my new weather station that is comming from LaCrosse Wisconsin. With the snow in the upper Midwest I thought maybe it would get held up, but the shipment snuck through just ahead of the storm and is right on time. So this afternoon I will get to play with my new toy.
These cold temperatures will make it more difficult, but we will still enjoy the good life down here today.
