Weekend

Well the end of another work week is upon us. For the team that means lots of football to watch. Today we started off in a heavy fog, but it quickly disappeared as the sun went to work. Now it is 76 degrees on the way to 86. This morning I made a trip to the office to sign the list for the Thanksgiving dinner. I will be providing potatoes for mashing.

This morning I also worked on securing my solar address post. The soil in this part of the country is just a little harder than cement so it required I get the hose out to completely soak the ground for about a half hour. Then it was a matter of prying the ground loose with a screw driver, followed by more soaking. I finally got the proper depth and was able to secure the base in the ground. I would expect once the post sets up it will take a jackhammer to remove it. Playing in the mud is just another way to enjoy the good life.
