s Mel has gotten older he has gained weight (like who hasn't) so today's project was to begin to lighten his load. The morning was spent going through the closet and removing anything that hadn't been worn for the last year. A local church became the beneficiary of a winter coat, several sweat shirts, three pairs of winter gloves, some light jackets, some dress pants and some recently (as of yesterday) tie-dyed pants among other things. The entire effort filled a large plastic yard waste sack. I now have free space in my closet. Tomorrow we will tackle some of the outside compartments. Who knows what will be found there.
Today's walk and visit around the park was rewarded with the sighting of a new variety of butterfly. These are a larger variety of butterfly, mostly black on the top with lots of orange coloration on the underside of the wings.
Taking the time to enjoy what nature has to offer is just another way to enjoy the good life.
