Nice day today

After a few dreary days we finally have one nice enough to send the fisher people back to the water. The day started off with biscuits and gravy cooked up by the Association. All you can eat for $3.00 is hard to beat.

The cooks at the ready.

Some of the people that enjoyed the breakfast.

A fish story > Sal and Brian were some of the many who went out this morning and on their return Sal stopped over and offered me a bass fillet. Not having any idea how to microwave a fish fillet I passed, but I did ask the obvious question, 'who caught it'. Sal said no one, they were sitting in the boat and kept seeing a silver flash on the water so they went over to investigate. What they found was a greedy 7 lb bass that was choking on a Tiliapia that was too big to swallow. The removed the Tilapia and tried to revive the bass in the live well to no avail. I suppose the Tilapia is now the leader of the tournament having caught the largest bass to date. Rescuing choking bass is just another way to enjoy the good life.
