Laundry time

Today was laundry day and it was quite an ordeal. First it was gather up the laundry, strip the sheets off the bed, grab the towels and pack everything over to the laundry room. After loading everything into a machine it was then I realized I had forgot to bring aretrieveers. So it was back to Mel to retreive a handful of quarters. Then back to the laundry room insert the quarters and nothing happens. The red light is on the machine, but the pleasant sound of running water is not reaching my ears. A quick deduction, broken machine. Solution....move the laundry to the next machine I think, insert more quarters and I get the same result. So then it's off to the office to report the problem and I find out that the park water has been temporarily shut off. So it's back to the laundry room and a wait for the water to come back on which finally happens in about a half an hour. So the entire morning was tied up doing one load of laundry. I did get some visiting in while waiting for all this to happen so the morning wasn't a total loss. One thing must be noted, we do find different ways to enjoy the good life.
