We are under a high wind alert for today. This afternoons gusts are expected to be upwards of 50 mph and visibility might be down as the result of blowing dust. It appears mother nature is trying to relocate this part of New Mexico into Texas.
Dennis and Tammy hit the road at 6:30 this morning headed north. After being parked here for two years this wind should be a real test in getting used to driving the motorhome again. They have some business to take care of in Denver and then they are planning on joining us in Zapata for the winter. I hope their plans work out, because they are good company.
Today's attempt to enjoy the good life will be limited due to the wind, but we'll give it our best shot.
