Dinner out

Laurie and Troy dropped by last night and I took them out for supper to a restaurant called On the Border Mexican Grill. We had the pleasure of being served by my granddaughter, Kelsey. Things were a little slow by the time we arrived and I will have to admit it's not often your server joins you at your table and helps herself to the salsa. Actually Kelsey is very good at her job and the manager even stopped by the table to tell her parents what a good job she was doing for them and how happy they were that she was working there. That was a nice touch. Today we are under a heat advisory, I guess the temps will now start to rise in anticipation of the outdoor wedding next weekend. It probably will be pleasant sitting in the August heat at an outdoor wedding next weekend. Today's efforts will be directed at keeping cool which will probably require me to sit inside and watch sports on TV. Just another part of the good life.
