Washed out

Yesterday was a wash out, when it wasn't drizzling, it was raining and the temperature didn't even make it to 70. Today looks a little better but we still have broken clouds and it's just 70 degrees. Strange weather for July 2nd. Here are some more of the pictures from Nauvoo. These are all from the building that explained the skills needed to survive in the 1850's. Each area had a person demonstrating these skills.

Wagon making.

Cooperage or as we like to call it barrel making.

Pottery or as we like to call it pottery.

Weaving.

Cooking...without the use of a microwave. Very primitive.

Candle making.

Baking

Another look at the kitchen.

Quilting, a skill still found in Zapata today.

Making thread the old fashioned way.
