Holiday

The holiday crowd has arrived and the park is filling up, lots of people here to enjoy the weekend. So far it remains cool and cloudy, especially for this time of year. It doesn't appear that it's going to be hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of July. Here are the last of the pictures from Nauvoo. These were all taken in the Visitors Center.
The history of the city.

The story of the hanging of the Church leaders in Carthage.

The trip to Salt Lake City.

A life sized bronze.

An explanation of the next picture.

A depiction of the city in 1845. The white dot in the center is the Temple.

Another bronze.

A painting of the building of the Temple.

The story of religion in Nauvoo.
