Another state

We are now in Ohio. We spent the morning at the Auburn, Cord, Dussenberg Museum and the went to the National Automotive and Truck Museum. The ACD Museum was far more interesting than the latter. A very nice volunteer named Al was most helpful in giving insights into the history of the Company's and it was time well spent. We had a pretty good thunderstorm this morning with a bit of hail. After our visit to the museums we moved to Celina Ohio and are sitting in a campground on the fairgrounds. I will publish today's pictures as soon as I have finished with the RV/MH Hall of Fame pictures. Here are today's.

Mae West's vehicle.

About the housecar.

A luxury coach in its day.

The long, long trailer.

The futuristic look.

About the 'star'.

This was unique in that the driver sat in a leather chair to drive and the stove was located to the drivers right. I suppose it was nice to be able to fix supper and drive down the road.

The interior showing the leather chair and stove.

A covered wagon camper.
