In mourning

Today I mourn the passing of some old friends. After long and thoughtful considerations I have decided to part company with my favorite tennis shoes. They have been with me since before the journey began and have traveled many miles in support of my quest. The deciding factor was when I began to see light through the soles. Walking was becoming a chore as any pebble in my path was felt as if I were barefoot. I am now using the replacement pair I bought over a year ago in anticipation of this day. Good bye old friends.

They were as comfortable as an old pair of shoes.

I thought for sure he would have those tennies bronzed.
Just hang onto the good ole memories. I'm sure they took you enough places, there are many memories...
