Fun day

Even though yesterday started out with rain it quickly cleared off and activities picked up. Mike and Jane arrived in the afternoon with a piece of trim he had cut and stained to cover the area at the edge of the remodeled area. The transition from two couches to a couch and a recliner and computer desk is now complete. How nice is it to have friends who will help you out when needed. Later brother Mark called and said he had an extra ticket to the Hannibal Cavemen's baseball game and invited me along. The Cavemen are a new team in the college instructional league that just started this year. I was seeing their third game and I also got to witness their first win. It was nice to see the old ballpark had been spiffed up and was again being used. Today has started with rain again, we will have to see what it brings.

Clements field as the game begins.

The game goes into the night.

This is the team mascot. They have unknowingly honored me by naming him Shoo-less Joe. Of course this is a reference to Shoeless Joe Jackson and the song 'Shoeless Joe from Hannibal Mo' from the Broadway play 'Damn Yankees'. I doubt that they even know I have been using the name Shoeless Joe since I've been RVing.
