Deluge

Last night the sky opened up and let go. We had over 2" of rain. Let me tell you a gentle rain on the fiberglass roof is very soothing, but a pounding rain on a fiberglass roof makes sleeping very difficult, sort of like being in a barrel. It rained hard enough last night that I lost reception from both satellites. It is not uncommon to loose TV reception because the dish is smaller and under a dome, but this is the first time I've ever lost Internet reception on the bigger Motosat dish. It is still threatening rain today, although the radar shows clearing to the west. We'll just have to see what the day brings.
