Today I visited the Cross in Groom Texas and it is totally impressive. Pictures can't do it justice, but I do want to share the ones I took. You can visit their web site @
The Cross is massive, 190 feet tall. I could see it from 8 miles away. I can imagine what it must look like at night.
On a raised mound is a depiction of Calvary.
