More Tombstone

Today is laundry day in anticipation of hitting the road tomorrow. I have decided to proceed in an easterly direction. That way I can cover the 1500 miles at my pace and arrive in Hannibal on June 1st. Today's pictures are an assortment of odds and ends from around Tombstone.

This rose bush covers 8600 square feet and looks more like a tree.

This is the building where it is housed.

The old city hall/fire station/Marshall's office.

About the newspaper.

Their current location.

Another Tombstone tree.

It was used a a swing several times.

The courthouse. Tombstone is no longer the county seat and this building has become the smallest state park in Arizona.

The entrance to one of the old mines.
