Burl Ives

Last night I went to a fish fry at Jim and Sue's complete with fresh caught fish, fried potatoes, baked beans, stewed apples and corn bread. Janice brought the cornbread, Jim fried the fish and Sue did the rest. All I had to supply was the appetite and with all that good food it was easy. After that I went and saw Tommy Helms do his Burl Ives show. Tommy is a good ole Missouri boy who winters, with his wife, in Mission Texas. There was a small crowd, which is too bad, because they missed a good show.
