Another cloudy day

Today is another cloudy, damp day in Zapata and everyone is starting to get cabin fever. The temperature has warmed a bit and more people are out in spite of the drizzle. Being here for a second year has advantages in that more people know me and there are regular deliveries of homemade cookies and candies to my door. My neighbor Annis is especially generous and has delivered homemade chili, a chicken fried steak platter, polish sausage and sauekraut and yesterday she brought cookies and candy. I couldn't ask for better neighbors.
