4 Seasons RV Park

Reader Billy Heaton wrote to me yesterday asking about 4 Seasons RV Park where I'm staying and it's been awhile since I talked about the park itself, so here goes. 4 Seasons RV Park is located in Zapata, Texas on Falcon Lake 50 miles southeast of Laredo. The park has 175 RV sites and an additional development of permanent park models and mobile homes. The rates here are very reasonable at $150..00 per month + electricity. The big draw here is the people who continue to return year after year, many of them for over ten years. Everyone here is very friendly, except for one old grouch, and your arm gets tired from waving at everyone as you walk down the street. The park has a huge recreation building which hosts several carry-ins and socials during the season. Daily activities include several types of card games, quilting, bingo, fishing and golf at a nearby golf course. They also have a pool hall and an indoor swimming pool on the property. Another popular activity here is just sitting with friends and visiting and plenty of that goes on here. All in all 4 Seasons is just a great place to winter.
