Monsoons are back

Yesterday someone here commented that the monsoon season was finally over, boy were they wrong. A storm moved in last night with lightning and thunder. It started about midnight and hasn't stopped since. The lightning was spectacular and continuous in five minute bursts that lit up the surrounding mountains like it was day time. The accompanying thunder was a low rumble that bounced back and forth between the mountains. It was quite a show. I am glad I'm on the high side of the park or I might be floating. Hopefully this will decide to end soon because today is laundry day.
