Super Bowl Sunday

I woke up this morning to pea soup fog, but it quickly burned off and it is now beautiful. The temp is already 63 and it promises to be a real pretty day. The last time I was in this area for Super Bowl Sunday was when I was driving truck and I was in Brownsville and it was 85 degrees on the Friday before the game. I waited as late as I could before calling dispatch to report empty figuring on no loads would be available. Big surprise, one load that had to go and one driver available....me. After much pleading by the dispatcher I ended taking the load. Fast forward to Sunday and I'm sitting in Shakopee Minnesota, its -25 degrees and 24" of snow falling. Make no mistake, that will not happen this year. One of the neighbors is making home mad ice cream this afternoon and then it's on to watch the game. Another rough day in paradise.
