I was surprised this morning when I checked Accuweather to see that Hannibal and Zapata are starting out the day with the same temperature. Hannibal is a warm 44 and Zapata is a cold 44. As the day goes on it looks like we are heading in the opposite direction though. Our high is headed for 80.
We ended up eating at Hawks Landing last night. We headed out with a different destination in mind but found them closed. There was a wedding in town last night and a lot of places were closed. Weddings and funerals big events around here and will shut down business in a minute. Any excuse to not work is the norm. We are very, very laid back around here.
