Goose Island State Park update

The original plan was to stop at Goose Island State Park to empty the holding tanks and then move on. After seeing the place I decided it was too special not to spend the night here. Goose Island is a bird sanctuary right on the Aransas Bay. I took a walk this afternoon and some of the pictures I took are below. Jayco called and the TV is again in working order. For those who care the inverter is under the bed under a sub floor with many, many screws holding it in place. Screwed on top of the sub floor is the support rod that holds the bed up so you can access the under bed storage area. Three arms would have come in handy to hold the bed, remove the panel and work on the inverter. Gotter dun though!!

Mel from the point on the other side of the cove. Mel is on the left next to the brown motorhome.

The state parks fising pier.

A tall bird or a Canadian Aflac salesman.

A taller bird.

A short fat bird.
If anyone has a better description of these birds comments are welcome.

  1. Why didn't you look under the sub floor early on? Obviously, they were hiding the inverter from burglars! This is your nacho mama's opinion.
