Inside the Bluff Fort.

On arrival in Bluff the pioneers constructed a series of one room cabins inside the perimeter of the fort. Here are some pictures of the recreations. The rooms are furnished with period pieces, a lot of them originals.

The school cabin.

The blacksmiths cabin, he apparently brought his work home with him.

An old RV.

More pictures tomorrow as I continue to explore Bluff, Utah. I have also been pouring through the internet trying to find something interesting to make my next move towards. Got to figure out how to continue to enjoy the good life.

  1. Those cabins looks pretty nice. They look a lot bigger than some of the ones we have seen. Not sure I could have taught in that classroom. Where is the computer station?

    1. I didn't even see an abacus work station. Pretty primitive.

  2. Have you already visited the fabulous National Parks and Monuments in the state in the past? How about Dinosaur Nat'l Monument?

    1. I have Judy. I lived in Colorado for 12 years and spent most summer weekends and vacations in the mountains with my tent. I also did a lot of the old ghost towns in the area.

    1. Me too. This one is really neat because there are a bunch of folks around to explain things to you and mos to them are descendants of the original pioneers..
